Terms and Conditions

By dining at Han’s Buffet, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure the comfort, safety, and fairness of service for all our guests. Please read them carefully before making a reservation or dining with us.

1. Storage of Credit/Debit Card Data

  • Han’s Buffet uses an external third-party provider that is fully PCI-compliant to securely store customer card details.
  • Card details are held temporarily on their system and are deleted once the booking has been fulfilled.
  • This process is conducted in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

2. Reservations

  • Han’s Buffet accepts a limited number of reservations to ensure availability for walk-in guests at all times.
  • For large group bookings, a deposit is required to secure the reservation.
  • Failure to cancel your booking, or notify us of a reduction in party size at least 24 hours prior to your reservation, may result in a charge of £5 per person to the card on file.
  • A deposit is required for reservations of twenty (20) or more guests.
  • We do not accept phone payments, so customers must visit the restaurant to make the deposit. Please contact info@hansbuffetbasingstoke.co.uk for more details.
  • Reservations will be held for a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes beyond the scheduled time. Thereafter, the reservation will be considered void.
  • Han’s Buffet will make every reasonable effort to accommodate late arrivals as soon as possible.
  • Guests are requested to notify the receptionist immediately if members of their party are delayed.
  • During peak periods, table reservations are subject to a maximum seating duration of one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes.
  • Guests must present a printed copy of their booking confirmation, or evidence of the confirmation on a smartphone or laptop. Where applicable, a deposit receipt must also be provided.

  • Children under 150cm are charged the child price.
  • Infants up to three (3) years old eat free.
  • Last entrance is thirty (30) minutes before closing time.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash and card payments.

4. Food and Beverages

  • No food or beverages other than those supplied by Han’s Buffet may be consumed on the premises.

  • The use of party poppers, confetti, silly string, or similar items is strictly prohibited.
  • Guests are encouraged to take only what they can reasonably consume. Excessive food wastage may result in an additional charge.
  • Plates of food may not be shared with guests who have not paid for the buffet.
  • Buffet pricing is for dine-in only. Food may not be taken away unless purchased separately, at management’s discretion.
  • As an all-you-can-eat buffet, all guests are required to pay for entry. Guests who do not eat are not exempt from payment.
  • Han’s Buffet does not provide a “drinks only” service, as there is no separate bar area for non-dining guests.

5. Special Dietary Requirements

  • Allergen information is available at reception. Guests should request an allergen guide from a member of staff.
  • While every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination, ingredients may be manufactured in facilities handling other allergens. Traces may therefore be present.
